Fast National ratings
for Friday, October 10, 2009
Friday night's ratings for CBS took a
similar path to last Friday giving it the most viewers thanks to new
series "Medium" and mainstays "Ghost Whisperer" and "Numb3rs." But NBC's
justice slate of "Law & Order" and "Dateline" came in second, proving
that scheduled repeats of new series "FlashForward" and "Modern Family"
just isn't enough when so few viewers are available.
CBS averaged 8 million viewers and an 5.1 rating/9 share in households.
NBC took second with 6.5 million viewers and an 4.4/8 share, ABC (4
million, 2.8/5) was third, followed by FOX (2.3 million, 1.5/3) came in
fourth, ahead of The CW (1.7 million, 1.1/2).
In the adults 18-49 demo, CBS garnered a 1.9 rating. NBC scored a 1.5,
followed by ABC at 1.0, FOX with 0.9 and The CW at 0.7.
