Seriale TV: How did you get the part for Aiden? Connor Gibbs: There was a night when my mom and I went to the movies when we received the audition notice and lines so I was rehearsing the lines during the previews of the movie that we were at. The next day, I went in for the audition. I went in a few times. I got to read the lines with Jennifer Love Hewitt. When I got out, they called my agent and I got it Had you been a fan of Ghost Whisperer before? Before I got the part, I had seen the show a few times. At the time though I was 6 years old and I was a little scared so I didn’t really watch. What has been your favorite episode to shoot so far? My favorite episode so far is episode 9 when a girl who is a ghost kidnaps me and brings me to a place because she is afraid of the shadows. She packs my backpack with a bunch of shiny things and that is how we get to the shinies. Are the shinies good or bad? Umm..the shinies are good, the shadows are bad. We know a little bit about both of them but not everything. Can you tell us when the shinies are coming back? We don’t know that yet… Are going to find out about any other gifts of Aiden’s? He can see the shinies and the shadows, he is an empath, and there is one more gift but we don’t know what it is quite yet! What’s it like talking to ghosts and knowing they aren’t there? Because they are not there, it is weird when shooting if you don’t remember where they are. So you just have to remember where they are. Have you had any real life supernatural experiences? I have had a lot of pictures with orbs in them. They are supposed to be energies of real ghosts. What is it like working with Jennifer Love Hewitt and David Conrad? Jennifer is really nice. We goof around on set and do a lot of things together. With David, we play catch and throw the football around. One time we actually played baseball in the living room on set. How do you prepare for your scenes? We practice my lines every night before bed and before I go on set. Do you know if Aiden will get a dog? We don’t really know yet… Do you go to school or do you get home schooled? I am going to public school but the days that I go on set, I get the work from my teacher and do the work on set. How did you feel about dying your natural red hair for the show? It was kind of weird at first but we are all pretty used to it now. I hear you are a big Star Wars fan, what role would you play if you could be in any of the movies? I would probably play Yoda because he is the leader of the Jedis and he can do a lot of things that other Jedis can’t. |
