by Jim Mix Two days before the January 4th broadcast of NBC's AMERICAN DREAMS: The 7-10 Split, Ms. Nancy Sinatra, singer/actress/songwriter and the daugther of the great crooner of all crooners, songwriter, founder of REPRISE RECORDS (now owned by Warner Bros. Records), and devoted father, FRANK SINATRA (in my opinion), responed to the performance of JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT as Nancy Sinatra performing the Lee Hazelwood classic, "THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN". With all due respects, Ms. Sinatra, you should have been there to tell the director of the January 4, 2004 broadcast and Executive Producer DICK CLARK what to do in order for Jennifer Love Hewitt to portray you in the right way. I don't think Jennifer Love Hewitt wouldn't mind at all. Ms. Hewitt meant no way of disrespecting you and your career. I remembered you career as well as your father and brother's career. Too bad I cannot find a can of Royal Crown cola. Another Respectful performance as you, Ms. Sinatra, will air on February 22, 2004 (the day after Jennifer Love Hewitt's 25th birthday) @ 8:00 PM e/p on NBC. She performs "Sunny", a song your father recorded---according to BMI. |

Be sure your speakers are on. Thank
you for your time Most or all of the Nancy Sinatra fans agreed that there's nothing better than the original. As a Jennifer Love Hewitt Fan, I agree. Love got the same treatment for portraying Audrey Hepburn that led to a friendship with the Hepburn Family members---especially as a board member of The Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund @ AudreyHepburn.com. Also Ms. Hewitt and Ms. Sinatra have at least one thing in common, they have visited the injured troops of the wars and gave their support and love to the soldiers. If Ms Hewitt wanted to do any harm to Ms. Sinatra, there'd be no point of portraying Ms. Sinatra at all. |
