Jennifer Love Hewitt has had TV stardom in "Party of Five" and "Time Of Your Life", movie success as a scream queen in "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and its sequel, and chart breaking albums "Love Songs" (1992), "Let's Go Bang" (1995) and the self titled "Jennifer Love Hewitt" (1996).   

But she's not satisfied.

"Come on, guys, throw me your boxers," she yelled at the 200-plus guests at her mini singing gig at Sydney's Seymour Theater on September 9, 2002.  "No-one ever throws their undies up onstage." 

The invited throng---record executives and media types, competition winners, soap stars---remained fully dressed this time, too. 

But they cheered on Love Hewitt, 23, as she took the stage with acoustic guitarist, DUSTIN BOYER, who accompanied her for her only Australian performance, warbling four tracks from her new album, "BareNaked" (the title song debuted at Number 18 on the ARIA singles charts as of September 10, 2002).  

"She was fantastic and really wooed the crowd," gushed "Home and Away" star Ada Nicodemou after the show.  

Love Hewitt arrived in Australia the day before for a Sydney and Melbourne promotional tour. She took some time off from her tour to dine at some of the Australian restuarants and signed autographs for fans. She enthused to WHO about being a songstress.

"People have been really good and accepting, things have been good," she said.  "And I much prefer making music to acting."
