It's bye, bye American squeaky
cleanness for Jennifer Love Hewitt, at least for one
made-for-TV movie. The 26-year-old Texas native gets to play a vampish back-stabber this Saturday (March 12, 2005) when "Confession of a Sociopathic Social Climber" is broadcast on Oprah's Oxygen channel. Hewitt describes her role as that of "a monster" in an interview with Scripps Howard News Service, but also allowed that it was not an artistic stretch from her real self, every now and then. "I loved it," Hewitt said. "I found it really invigorating and different and fun and very much like myself when I'm PMS-ing, so it wasn't that far from who I am." Hewitt was more candid than many celebs in discussing publicity, whether it's being snapped at a premiere or being selected by Stuff mag for inclusion in "102 Sexiest Women in the World." As Hewitt said, "I've been in the magazines for a long time and, to be honest, if I suddenly wasn't in the magazines anymore, I'd wonder what was wrong." Story: © 2005
