Love was the first cover girl...... |
| Here
are two of them regarding their first cover..... Working at TEEN PEOPLE isn't all fun and games - just mostly fun and games. |
| Your friends at TEEN PEOPLE work
very hard to put together the magazine and website, but
there definitely are some perks. Here, TEEN PEOPLE
staffers reminisce on their favorite celebrity run-ins
from the past five years. Paul Caine, Publisher "From day one, it's been one memory after another. When we launched, no teen magazine really understood celebrities. Nobody gave them a forum to share their personal stories, so we got to know so many of them so well. Our first cover girl, Jennifer Love Hewitt, appeared at our New York and LA launch parties, and in LA, we showed the world the Backstreet Boys -- and nobody cared about them. Jennifer stood there and said, 'They're my favorite band,' and people said, 'Who was she talking about, again?' Amazing. Amy Galleazzi, Associate Director of Public Affairs "Prior to our launch, TEEN PEOPLE's first cover girl, Jennifer Love Hewitt, dropped by our offices to check out an advance copy of our first issue. She got a good look at history in the making - she walked around chatting with our staff, got a tour of the offices, and raided our fashion closets for some of the hottest trends." |
