School bullies helped actress JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT prepare for the ruthless world of show business. And now these bullies have a second problem: her fans.

But anyhow, the talented 25-year-old found it difficult fitting in with her peers while growing up in Texas.

She explains, "They couldn't understand why I would want to act and I was bullied a bit. There was a group of girls who would throw Coke at me first thing in the morning so I'd spend the whole day feeling sticky.

It was a painful experience at the time, but I just figure that school was good preparation for the entertainment industry - you've got to be pretty tough to survive both.

I don't know if it made me grow up quicker, because it's always been said that I've been an old soul on young shoulders, but it definitely toughened me up."

By the way, whatever happen to those girls? Nothing---and that's what they are.
